Autism Services

JF&CS serves individuals with autism from diagnosis and throughout their lifespan to maximize quality of life and independent functioning. JF&CS believes in individualized approaches and customized goals co-written with the person and/or the family served.


Information and Referral

Disability Resource Network (DRN)
The Disability Resource Network provides information and referral for individuals and their families.

Services for Children and Adolescents with Autism

Family Advocates
Facilitates the coordination of services and helps simplify the complex systems of support needed for children with autism spectrum disorder. This includes providing special education advocacy, as well as accessing other community-support services.

Kids’ Connection Corner
Provides opportunity for children with autism to further engage in relationships, play, and conversation while offering respite to parents and caregivers.


Services for Adults with Autism


Clinical Case Management
By partnering with individuals and their families, our staff help identify and pursue goals that will lead to a more meaningful and purposeful life. We have case managers who specialize in working with adults with autism spectrum disorder.

Day and Employment Programming
CHAI Works Day Program, Pathways to Employment, and Employment Services offer employment, volunteer, and enrichment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities, including autism.

Family Advocates
Family Advocates facilitate the coordination of services and help simplify the complex systems of support needed for adults with autism spectrum disorder. This includes helping with the transition out of school and into adult services, accessing benefits as an adult with autism, and planning for one’s future.

Jewish Life
Social groups for adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities that provide a connection to Jewish life and learning.

Residential and Support Living Programs
A range of options for adults with disabilities who want to live, work, and socialize in the community as independently as possible.
